Our Story
tara, founder & head event planner
It all started in 2008 when Tara moved to Florida and became the Leader of Hospitality for her church. In this role, she planned and coordinated all church events outside of service including BBQs, picnics, meetings, guest speakers, and more.
In 2012 she was asked to plan her son’s wedding in two weeks. Tara planned, decorated, and cooked while also enjoying her role as mother-of-the-groom
Today, Tara has twelve grandchildren who ask her to plan their birthday parties. She wouldn't have it any other way.
When the church closed down, she decided to start her own event planning business and thus, Nix Elite Party Planning was born.
